In conjunction with the Australian Open’s biggest sponsor Kia, we created a game changer – a world first app – turning Australian Open tennis viewers into virtual tennis players, via their smartphone.

Kia had their best January & February sales on record. The campaign generated more than $2 million of editorial support and increased openness to the brand, with 79% of players more positive towards Kia. This became the #1 free app on i-Tunes, became Australia’s number one auto app, and spanned 110 countries. Over 70 million entries were recorded. No wonder it also picked up a host of industry awards.
